the item isn’t as impressive as the picture appears. Very flat and not as 3D as I had hoped it would be. For the price, it isn’t a bad gift though!

The chain was a little short for my mothers neck but other than that it was a beautiful pendant. My mother loved it as a birthday present.

The size of the actual pendant was a little smaller than I expected, but in a good way. I was worried it would be too big but turned out to be perfect, a little bigger than my thumb nail. Nice size!

Would recomend to anyone looking to get their mom a little gift. Nice quality.

This was the first book that I’ve read on my new Kindle, so be forewarned that my enthusiasm might be affected by my love of the technology. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed Gone Tomorrow. The book starts out with a bang (quite literally), and keeps rolling from there. It primarily takes place in New York City, and the overall premise is very relevant to our times (i.e., Osama bin Laden, Afghanistan). I think what I enjoyed most about the story was how it never loses it way. A few of the other Reacher books seem to meander and become a bit tiring in places. I never felt that with this one. The characters are interesting and not always predictable. The action is violent and physical, like all of the Reacher books. Sex is minimal, but the usual one girl per book is still there (although there didn’t seem to be any magic this time around for either character). Overall, a very enjoyable book, and one that I can highly recommend!

I am a huge fan of the Jack Reacher novels, and the beginning of this one hooked me in as usual!

Lets try explain what the 12 steps to noticing a suicide bomber are – fascinating stuff… Jack is the unsung hero again – albeit, a pain for local law enforcement! He never does take the hint and leave town, does he?

Another exciting page turner from Child – exactly what we’ve come to expect!

This is a great read. The last action scene is very well done, perhaps Child’s best to date. Gunfights, knife fights, and some hand to hand action. All very good stuff. My only complaint, and it still sticks with me, is he left the story hanging. Throughout the entire book, there is something hidden in a photo that is so very important to everyone. And then at the end, they never reveal what it is. Everyone just kind of shrugs and moves on. Why leave it like that? Still, I enjoyed the book and I’m sure you will too.

Jack Reacher, riding a New York subway in the early morning hours, notices a woman passenger acting strangely. Reacher watches her, ticking off the 12 points identifying her as a suicide bomber. When Reacher approaches her, she pulls a gun and kills herself. Since Reacher was the last one to speak to the woman, he's taken to the police station for questioning. When the feds show up, Reacher suspects there's more to this story than a depressed woman committing suicide. This is confirmed when he's approached by governmental and foreign organizations wanting to know what the woman passed to him before she died. Curious about what everyone is looking for, Reacher begins his own investigation which puts him at odds with law enforcement and leads him to the White House and its past connection to the Soviet war in Afghanistan during the `80s.

Lee Child's 13th offering in the Reacher series is a tense thriller with plenty of bad guys and ample graphic violence. Reacher is a dangerous man confident in his abilities and with his own sense of justice. He isn't timid when dealing with the FBI, Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and terrorists, all of whom are after him. His brusque, at times edifying narrative, as always, carries the plot forward in an intriguing, entertaining way, and readers will root for Reacher to take care of matters in the way only Reacher can.

Love is forever. Especially when you are in love with Jack Reacher. I believe Lee Child is making his JR character grow into a “real” entity who has been (for the past two books) in a bit of a crisis. He is still clever, fascinating and strong. And he is in a crisis. He will grow out of it. I am sure! Still a great reading that will appeal especially to the Reacher’s aficionados.

The author is humorous which is a plus. The technique just works … seriously .. like within days I saw huge improvements in obedience, voluntary behavior. Accordingly, we had more fun together.
