Just think how crazy someone would have to be to go without socks! Yeah, yeah, I know…during the summer and whenever its warm I guess people do all the time when wearing sandals but you know what I mean. Socks are the order of the day in more ways than one. There’s just one thing you need to be warned about though. If you happen to have a Jack Russell Terrier, then don’t leave your socks on the floor or they will get eaten.
We’re serious and if we could show you pictures of socks that bit the dust thanks to the Terrier teeth, we would. I can only guess it must resemble some type of animal or snake or something and gets their curiosity going. Can’t personally image them tasting that all too good but hey, if you was a dog, what’s to say you wouldn’t find them appetizing. So funny when its someone else’s socks mind you haha! Then again, maybe that’s just the naughty side of me.
Now if there were socks that were dog proof, we could see buying those. Hey, are there socks specifically designed for dogs? But, we digress. Our point is that socks protect our feet from all kinds of things you find on the floor of your home (and outside for those of you who wear socks in the backyard). If you have ever managed to stroll through the house and step in a gift the cat left for you, then you immediately know the true value of socks. Good thing we all have washing machines and more socks in our drawers.
Let’s be real for a second, have you ever given any thought into how much impact a pair of socks has on our lives and those of our friends and people over the world. Ever noticed how many crafts make use of socks? You can make a great reindeer head using oversize wool socks. Let’s face it; a house is not a home without a whole pile of mismatched socks. Funniest thing is, if ever you’re missing an odd sock or two, just check your washing machine or tumble dryer. Always seems to hide them just when you want them.

Also, lets no forget what a sock actually says about the person wearing them. You must have seen the crazy chick wearing different coloured socks, or the old guy wearing white socks with his black shoes. You have to accept that all people are different and have their own fashion tastes so best thing is to just let others get on with it and find your own path to fashion. The only thing to bear in mind however and use caution is if you’re a guy who is going on that special date and your wearing pink socks.
