I will be soon travelling alone internationally with my 16 month old daughter. She will be on my lap. When she was a baby, she could sleep in an airplane bassinet during flights, but now she won’t fit. I am wondering, how can I make her sleep longer and more comfortably on my lap? What position would you recommend? She’s a bit of a fussy toddler, so I expect it may be hard to put her down.

We have a custom kids bed-making business, and this year is difficult on sales. I’m trying to get our prices low enough to be affordable for the average middle class family but high enough to still earn a living.

My question is to parents: What prices would you think are reasonable for a toddler or twin wooden bed that is custom-made how you like it? Is there a threshold which you would not exceed for a toddler bed shaped like an airplane or car, or a twin?
