What do you tell a toddler's parents when they are getting bit in a childcare center? Biter:sensory issues?
I am a toddler 2 teacher (ages 20-30 mth.) and I have conferences tomorrow. What can I tell a parent whose child, like other children keeps getting bit by another child in our room. The biter has possible sensory integration issues, with divorcing spanish-at-home speaking parents. I truly believe the biter does not have a huge behavioral issue, rather developmental disabilities. What do I say?

What is the law about leaving a toddler alone in a car in Illinois?
My daughter attends a very nice preschool in illinois. There is a woman with a 2 year old that constantly leaves her in her van to go get her other daughter. The toddler is always unbuckeled and sometimes is even eating snacks that can easily be choked on. The toddler plays with all the cars controls and the whole situation can be potentially harmful. What is the law? The school is not a quick pick up, you wait in a line with 36 other parents and go down 2 long halls, the vehilcle isn’t even in sight!

What kinds of toddler and twin bed prices are parents willing to pay?
We have a custom kids bed-making business, and this year is difficult on sales. I’m trying to get our prices low enough to be affordable for the average middle class family but high enough to still earn a living.
My question is to parents: What prices would you think are reasonable for a toddler or twin wooden bed that is custom-made how you like it? Is there a threshold which you would not exceed for a toddler bed shaped like an airplane or car, or a twin?
