My 2 y/o son is in need of some new sandals for this summer. I am looking for something that will last and take a beating. Keen Newport H2 is kind of what I am leaning toward right now for him. Any other brands just as nice or better for toddler boy sandals?

We are getting my 18 month old daughter a toddler bed today. She has gotten into the habit of sleeping in our bed. (I made the mistake of letting this happen because she got sick a while back, and I wanted to have her close so that I could watch. Paranoid first time mom that I am.) However, it is time that she be in her own bed. Any suggestions to make this work. We HAVE to make it work! Thank you.

My daughter is 16 months, and is trying to climb over the top of her crib. The crib has already been lowered as low as it can possibly go. Her father seems to think that in a month or two she will be ready for a toddler bed. I disagree. I think she should be closer to 2 years or over. When did you move your child from the crib to the toddler bed?

I have plenty of fitted sheets but I was going to try and make the top sheets. I just need the actual measurements from someone who already has a toddler bed top sheet. Thank you so much for any help that you can give me.

My son has never wanted to participate in anything that involves other children – except with his two cousins. At storytime at the library and at swimming lessons, he freezes and hides in my lap. This week we’re visiting the cousins who take a toddler karate class. I’ve signed him up and he’s excited to go. Any ideas on how I can break him out of his freeze when we get there and get him to try it out? Thanks so much for any suggestions!

Just curious if anyone else thinks it’s a bit old that sooooo many teenagers are posting their adolescence questions in the toddler and preschooler category? Is it truly possible that sooo many people have no idea what the word adolescent means? Just wondering what other people think. Thanks! Or should they go by ages, i.e. 0-12 months, 1-3,3-5 etc?

I work at a daycare center and there’s one toddler who is very attached to me and gets jealous when other kids even sit near me and starts hitting and biting them. She also hits and bites when she’s very happy and excited. I don’t want her to tell her to stop being excited, but she needs to stop hitting because she really hurts the other kids. Any tips?
